Laying down on the job

I thought I'd toss in a foto of me laying down on the job.

No, I haven't ripped, torn, or broken anything ... lately.

Altho I was badly beaten by the derision of my Turkey Day blog. Baby sisters saying that older brothers are full of "Bull." Now is that respectful of aged siblings ... or whut? Besides, don't creative license count for nothin ? :)

It looks like today is "Blue" Friday.

Here are a few representative temperatures around the country ...

A bit on the cold side of things. However, I checked and our tomato plants haven't wilted from being frozen. Even have 2 green tomatoes on the vines and some blossoms. Recovering nicely from the excess food yesterday. Wife is stripping the turkey carcass and going to make great gravy & leftovers.

Turkey Morning

Early this morning my wife sent me out the door into the cold bitter blowing snow ... to climb the icy hill to the store ... all because she wanted 2 cans of green beans (had to have them, she said). With frost-bitten nose, fingers, and toes ... I have wrapped myself around the bunk heater ... in hopes that I will thaw out before it really becomes winter ... or until she sends me out again to get something else that she forgot and desperately needs for Thanksgiving.

I forgot to mention that she sent me out with a shovel and a pick to break thru the frozen ground and dig up potatoes for this annual feast. So far we are only committed to attend and eat

two BIG meals today ... :)

Assembly of God Church parking lot

Today at the Assembly of God Church ... just around the corner, They are holding a car show. Cars are still showing up but I have to go other places. So here's a few fotos.

This is a slightly modified Honda Civic hatchback.

The Datsun Z-280 is a dirt racer and has Nitrous-Oxide injected.

A nice Corvette with a shot of it's engine.

And you could hear this Firebird rumble as it rolled up the street.

There's also an IROC Camaro and a midget race car.
