Painful Pine Cones

Look at those innocent pine cones ... did you realize that they are extremely painful?

YES!

PAINFUL!

After you spend a couple of hours helping a friend pick up several thousand of these lovely pine cones ... you will definitely discover (no later than the next morning) that pine cones are extremely painful.  

An 800 mg. Motrin later ... they aren't quite as painful.

But it may require a day or two of Motrin to get pine cones

back to the point of being pretty.

St. Patrick's Day Fotos

Now it's time to go out in public ... visit WalMart ... and the office ... let people gasp ... whisper about the "man-in-a-skirt" ... and take fotos with their cell phone cameras.  It should be a fun thing to do today!

Then Along Came Monday

Please!  Somebody tell me what happened to Monday?  It can't be Tuesday already!  Something has to be wrong with my cell phone.  It's telling me the wrong date.  I know I can make the computer go back to Monday ... is it possible to do that with my life?  I think I could use some more sleep ... or two more aspirins ... a bottle of Maalox ... or the pink stuff ... a written excuse for the teacher ...

Going to Church Today

A lot of people thought it was really nice to have only 2 hours of church today (instead of 3).

2010 Daylight Savings Time

This is for all of you who are clearly concerned about 

Daylight Savings Time which will occur

at 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning (3/14) ...

spring forward an hour.

Yes, a lot of us will be even later to church meetings.

The "Energizer Bunnies"

Mom/Gma went back to sleep after calling out, "They're awake now!" ... which was the cue for me to take the little doggies outside for their first morning walk (the 1.25 mile one).

The "energizer bunnies" have settled down for a nap on the couch ... after rocketing all over the place in a tug-of-war over a toy.

Another hour, and I'll need to head out -- 3 kids to see today.

The wife and I went thru the camping trailer yesterday and discussed what I would need to do to rebuild it into functional shape again.  It's someplace that we could stick a regular bathtub (after ripping out the bunkbeds) ... since we don't have a tub in our house.  There are occasions when it is just nice to take a soak.  It could also double as guest quarters (would sleep 6).  After we haul all of the STUFF out of it.
