Beach Trip

Having trouble modifying this from the iPod or Nook ...

the bog in front of the parking lot.

The pug was jerking on the leash ...

Pug is peeing on a plant, so I can take foto ...

colors lightened and antiqued.

Trying to get dogs to go in water ...

Dogs staying firmly away from water ...

We'd like to spend a whole week down there, but just can't due to many reasons ... like Seminary class, money, etc.  But it was fun while it lasted.

To the Beach & Back

The wife just had to get out of the house and go to the beach today.

Where we parked, this is one of those back-water, lily pond kind of things.

No picture of the beach would be complete without sea oats.

Being the weekend after the 4th of July ...

I was shocked at how relatively few people were at the beach.

Same goes for looking in the other direction.

There were intermittent beautiful clouds,

A nice breeze,

and the water temperature was surprisingly warm.

Now we are home, exhausted from the trip ...

to find a mess that "shredder" (the puppy) has made ...

chewed magazines, chewed newspapers, chewed boxes,

and the foam ball kind of thing that the cell phone sits in ...

was chewed into chunks all over the floor.

The puppy is outside playing "lunge-attack"

with the neighbor's dog.
