Back to hobbies ... and Life

Finally got a decent photo of our black pug. He's a beut! He has to think about things alot before dealing with them. He has to sniff and sniff and sniff on a spot and think about what it all means. While the boston terrier would just take a quick sniff and head out looking for things to eat or things to chase. The collar he wears has lots of spikes on it ... just to keep Sheba from chewing on it or using it to pull him around.

Hoeing Thistles in the Cow Pastures

Thistles will take over a cow pasture ...
because the cows won't eat them.
And soon you have a stickery mess with nothing for the cows to eat.
For some reason goats think they are tasty and will eat them before they consider eating grass. We don't have any goats. So we have to hoe the thistles to keep them under control. Sister Jones also likes to spray them with Roundup weed killer.

They reproduce like crazy ... faster than bunny rabbits.
Their seed blows all over - on the wind.

This is the face of the enemy!

Walking through the woods.

Polliwogs in the pond.

Cows looking up from their grazing ...
wanting to know what I'm doing.

This little guy has had enough walking and is going to rest for awhile.
