Back to hobbies ... and Life

Finally got a decent photo of our black pug. He's a beut! He has to think about things alot before dealing with them. He has to sniff and sniff and sniff on a spot and think about what it all means. While the boston terrier would just take a quick sniff and head out looking for things to eat or things to chase. The collar he wears has lots of spikes on it ... just to keep Sheba from chewing on it or using it to pull him around.

Dog-Walkin Happy

It's a balmy 39 degrees F ... and I am just dog-walkin happy tonight.
Gma and the too delicate princess stayed inside.

The Sound of One Ball Bouncing ...

It's morning ... no real light coming through the curtains ...
When we hear the sound of one ball bouncing.
bounce ... bounce ... bounce ...
scratch .. scratch ... scurry ... scurry ...

These two are dropping the little blue ball off the couch and then chasing it across the living room ... I think it was the one with the white hands that started it ... She's an instigator.

What that means is time to get up!

Noooooo ...
Gotta walk the dogs.
Pleeeeeaaase ... just a little more sleep.
Gotta be done now ... so they "go" outside.

Ugh.  Grumble - mmph - humpf ...
I'm getting up.

Sunny Day with a Facemask

It's one of those days where it is clear and bright
but a bit on the chilly side.
Wore a face mask to go walk the dog

This was from an art show.

And the elephant ear plants are Resting In Peace ...
for the time being.

Digging to China

This is a tag-team event --
Digging their way to China.
Out in the front yard.

Since we share a very big front yard with our neighbors ...
You never know what you are going to see out there.
I just had to take a picture of this pretty car.

Lovely Afternoon

After taking the grandsons out in the pasture for some target practice ... we used full unopened sodas as targets (they are most satisfying to hit) ... had lunch ... walked the dogs and did bicycle rides. Then it was time for me to go out and visit some people. I saw this lovely sight and stopped to take a few fotos. Scared a large turtle that was climbing up the bank to cross the road (he beat a hasty retreat). Later I took my wife out for our Friday date-night (ribeye steak at Georgia B's).
