did you notice the black cat ... ?
Back to hobbies ... and Life
Finally got a decent photo of our black pug. He's a beut! He has to think about things alot before dealing with them. He has to sniff and sniff and sniff on a spot and think about what it all means. While the boston terrier would just take a quick sniff and head out looking for things to eat or things to chase. The collar he wears has lots of spikes on it ... just to keep Sheba from chewing on it or using it to pull him around.

SQUIRREL!
Being a well-rounded individual ...
who might eventually decide what to be in life ...
I am currently trading emails
with Fielding Institute
in Santa Barbara, CA
about
their doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.
I think this bust represents
my exemplary skills and state of being.
And then the boston terrier got lost this morning while chasing after a SQUIRREL! I went to church and my wife eventually found her ... using prayer, of course. Now why didn't I think of that ... instead of just whistling and calling for her.

Day at Camp RR
Before Alex would get up on the horse ...
his friend had to get up on it,
then I had to ride it,
somebody had to hold onto the other side of the saddle to keep it from sliding over to the left side while I climbed up .. I don't think the cinch was tight enough ...
and finally we got Alex to get up and take a ride.
Horses seem really big and a bit scary to a city kid.
Lunch was PB&J sandwiches, chips, and cookies.
Nothing but the finest health food served.

Blackberries in season
Blackberries are in season. There are lots of them. Ripe. Wonderful. Tasty.
1) You just have to be willing to stick your hand into the briar patch (and suffer the prickly bloody consequences) to get them. I have the scratches and painful spots to prove this.
2) And suffer thru the heat and humidity ...
Those are the only limiting factors on how many blackberries end up in your bucket.
Mine was only half-full. And I was the only one out there picking them. Everyone else went swimming in the lake. Sigh.
