Before Alex would get up on the horse ...
his friend had to get up on it,
then I had to ride it,
somebody had to hold onto the other side of the saddle to keep it from sliding over to the left side while I climbed up .. I don't think the cinch was tight enough ...
and finally we got Alex to get up and take a ride.
Horses seem really big and a bit scary to a city kid.
Lunch was PB&J sandwiches, chips, and cookies.
Nothing but the finest health food served.

very cool!! and yuo're right the cinch wasn't tight enough if it was sliding enough to the side that someone else had to hold it for you to get on. they prob. forgot to hit horse in belly to let go of the breath big breath he took as they were cinching him up.
