Back to hobbies ... and Life

Finally got a decent photo of our black pug. He's a beut! He has to think about things alot before dealing with them. He has to sniff and sniff and sniff on a spot and think about what it all means. While the boston terrier would just take a quick sniff and head out looking for things to eat or things to chase. The collar he wears has lots of spikes on it ... just to keep Sheba from chewing on it or using it to pull him around.

Dripping Sweat!

Walked the dogs 1-1/4 miles this morning, then borrowed my neighbor's electric lawnmower to trim a few things.  Around 9:00 a.m. my wife called me in, fed me breakfast (oatmeal & raisins), and told me to take a shower ... and be sure to hang my clothes up where they wouldn't drip on the floor (they were soaked).
I had to drive her to the church by 10:00 a.m. so she could practice playing the music for a group of girls who are supposed to sing in church tomorrow.  Did I mention that the other day, the VA doctor told her that she would NOT be getting her drivers license back and driving anytime soon.  Not until she got her blood pressure and sugar levels back down to normal.  She blew a "raspberry" at him and smiled.  Anyway, while she was going to practice in the Women's (R.S.) room ... I went into the chapel and stumbled my way through a few songs on that piano.  The girls never showed.
Then a visit to a friend that we haven't seen in awhile.
Back home for lunch.  Putz around.  Walk the dogs a couple more times.  Send a couple of emails.  Then off to the Bishop's home for "Pioneer Day" activities and FOOD!  We stuck it out for a couple of hours, hiked half a mile back to the cars, and went home to sit in air conditioning once more. Aahhh.
