Back to hobbies ... and Life

Finally got a decent photo of our black pug. He's a beut! He has to think about things alot before dealing with them. He has to sniff and sniff and sniff on a spot and think about what it all means. While the boston terrier would just take a quick sniff and head out looking for things to eat or things to chase. The collar he wears has lots of spikes on it ... just to keep Sheba from chewing on it or using it to pull him around.

Left to Ride Home

We went to WalMart yesterday for a few things. While there, I saw this bicycle on sale. It's a Mongoose Paver with an aluminum frame and 700cc wheels. A BIG bike. My wife declined me attempting to jam it into her car ... so I ended up riding it 10 miles home ... over hill and dale ... 2 of those hills are big enough and steep enough that I only rode halfway up before resorting to walking to the top. I did make it home on the bicycle ... but I have remnants of a sore butt today ...

Is this one more example of those with the most toys wins? How many bikes does one man need?

The wife needs one she won't tip over on ... I need one to race on ... and maybe a 3-wheeler as I get to a tippier-age ... and at least one or two for parts for future projects ... and one or two for the visitors to ride ... and ... and ...

not very many ... :0P
