Back to hobbies ... and Life

Finally got a decent photo of our black pug. He's a beut! He has to think about things alot before dealing with them. He has to sniff and sniff and sniff on a spot and think about what it all means. While the boston terrier would just take a quick sniff and head out looking for things to eat or things to chase. The collar he wears has lots of spikes on it ... just to keep Sheba from chewing on it or using it to pull him around.

CRASH, BANG !!

3 days of thunder storms. This was taken at 9:00 a.m. this morning.
The hyacinth to the left of the post is drowning. It had let up yesterday afternoon and evening. Then about 8 or 9 p.m. it started again. At 3:00 a.m. this morning it was seriously thundering and continued to do so (almost continuously) thru 9:00 a.m. when it lightened a little. A few birds sang. But at 10:14 a.m. it is thundering again and the downpour has increased.

Used the camera flash to show this "river" running past our steps and around the side of the house. I wore my Crocs (rubber clogs) when I stepped down onto those gray slats ... which promptly sank ... and I was ankle deep in water.
Play the video below to hear and see the rain with another brief flash of lightning towards the end.
