Back to hobbies ... and Life

Finally got a decent photo of our black pug. He's a beut! He has to think about things alot before dealing with them. He has to sniff and sniff and sniff on a spot and think about what it all means. While the boston terrier would just take a quick sniff and head out looking for things to eat or things to chase. The collar he wears has lots of spikes on it ... just to keep Sheba from chewing on it or using it to pull him around.

Foggy Morning

Yesterday I noticed that wipers are not real effective when riding my motor-assisted bicycle in fog. It is scary to pull your hand off the handlebar at 25 mph and reach up to wipe a finger across the glasses lenses. And besides, you can't see much of anything anyway. My wife was off to work with the car ... and it was a little 9 mile (one-way) ride thru the fog for me to the VA clinic. I set my front light and tail light in flashing mode, had my air horn ready, and prayed that no one would run me over. Of course, it was lovely and sunny when I came home at noon.
